Gold Continues Its Winning Ways
Chaos Clinic for 4/14/2023

In the 2/24/2023 clinic, I showed that the gold ETF, GLD, was in a new up, Chaos Clamshell.
This chart 8 hour bar chart is an update.
As noted in that report, GLD had just completed 7 moves up from the triple bottom.
Those moves turned out to be the minor moves in a larger Chaos Clamshell. Magenta numbers
1 and 2 mark swings in this larger CC. Prices are now in move 3.
Note how the heavy white 220 bar EXMA helped identify this larger fractal.
The time from the triple bottom to the move 2 low is about 5 months. With 7 moves averaging
2.5 months, the overall Clamshell could last about 17.5 months. That would be near mid April
2024. Traders should look for a pullback on move 4 for a buying opportunity.
