This chart of the S&P over two days shows a unique electrical phenomenon,
time domain resonance.
In electronics, resonant circuits are used to tune radios to particular
stations. As you sweep the dial across the frequencies, the circuits pick up
and amplify a station's signal. One "tunes into" a station. As one scans
across the dial and passes a station , the energy from a station rises, then
falls according to the frequency response curve of the tuned circuit.
Similarly, as time swept past the CPI report, traders increasingly "tuned into"
the report, with prices rising, then falling, following the same response curve
found in electronics circuits.
I find this pretty amazing. Traders are acting like electrons!

I found one near 8:30 , the time of the economic report.
On the report, prices dropped sharply, down to the Moon +T045 electric field flux line at 5630.
After seeing that I bought at 5641. Sometimes it pays to do your homework
