Chaos Clinic For 7/26/2024

This chart is a daily chart of the S&P showing 2022 bear market and the
following bull market. Together, they form a rising wedge pattern.
That bull market has reached a significant level where it is due for a pullback.
First, one can make a good case for the bull market having made the seven moves
up for a Chaos Clamshell. The count shown uses move 1 as a zig-zag, which does happen.
The bear market of 2022 lasted about 9.5 months. So far the bull market has run about
21 months, more than twice as long.
To look at price harmonics, I used a 10:1 scale of price to degrees.
The bear market dropped from 480 to 360 degrees. 4 quantums of 30 degrees.
The zodiac is divided into 12 signs of 30 degrees. The bull market has rallied
7 thirty degree quantums. This 7:4 ratio is not one of the ones out of the
musical scale, but it does occur often in markets, usually as a temporary
level.
This suggests that this pattern will evolve, and there will be further
advances after a pullback.
