1:01 I'm going to end my comments now. I have company coming and I have several things I need to do. The screens will
run and the chat room will be open. I will try to do a clinic next week. In two
weeks I will not do one due to teaching a course.
12:37 As I expected, this has been a hard day to day trade with one contract. So I have not tried
to keep calling day trades. I am in a swing trade and my mind just can't do too much mixing of the two.
I am absolutely thrilled at how well my tools and theories are working in real time.
Everything I'm seeing today is covered in my courses. Normally I tell people
to take the Cash In On Chaos and Fractal of Pi courses and
learn to use the FOP overlay. Then take Chaos Trading Made Easy, and finish with Face Of God.
But if you are used to using a modern charting program, you can start with the Chaos Trading
Made Easy course, which is on special this month.
11:57 broke the lows-I made my day trade with one contract-On swing trades I like multiple contracts
Beginners should trade one contract until they learn to control risk
11:47 I'm back - I see that the speed has slowed, and a possible double bottom is forming at 2145
10:30 I think the rest of the day may be a sideways congestion, much like yesterday; so I'm going to take
a break now.
10:18 as a day trader, you are not trying to get it all-you are trying to take small bites and survive.
You want to GET IN, GET IT, GET OUT. I did that.
10:13 OK, taking 5 because this trade was a "late throw over the middle" AND because
my wheel of 360 astro chart showed support on Mars +090 degrees
10:07 I once read a book about meditation that said your mind was like a herd of monkeys
swing through the tree tops chattering-mine is
10:05 stop to 2154, lock 2; I have a mental monkey screaming at me to take 5 and get out
9:56 stop to 2156, break even; will let it run.
9:52 all summer the September contract traded lethargically. My research found that it was
working on a wheel of 24 scaling. Yesterday, on the switch to the December contact, it looked like
it was working on a wheel of 360, a scale jump. This is what Benoit Mandelbrot showed in his paper on
cotton prices. Chaotic systems scale jump.
9:50 my risk is $200 on a bet that prices are going lower.
9:40 this is a "falling dagger" market; NEVER TRY TO BUY A FALLING DAGGER
9:35 I like the down pushballs on the SPKISS chart-stop to 2160
9:33 elected short at 2156 stop at 2161
9:29 putting sell stop at 2156-if hit, protect at 2161
9:15 today we have one of those days where the market is "gap down" on my two day charts.
The swing traders who sold yesterday ( including me) will move their stops to break even and sit.
Position traders may be waiting for a bounce to sell, if they have not already sold.
Day traders will be looking for a "dead cat bounce." This pattern often has a rally into 11:00 Eastern,
which can set up a sell. Trade times are 9:31 and 13:16. The 9:31 is a "join a trend" entry, but today
prices may be too oversold, so I will be cautious.
9:00 Good Morning. Welcome to the Chaos Clinic. This site has a lot of charts,
so you may find it useful to have several of them available within your
browser. If you have a tabbed browser, you can open separate charts
in separate tabs by right clicking on any link, and selecting "open in new tab"
from the menu. The main list of site pages is at
Recommended pages to watch are SPKISS, MTRainbow, and Chat.
For astro stuff, add SPSunMoonMer, Wheel, and Chaos Clinic.
Chaos clinic comments appear at the bottom of the SPKISS, MTRainbow,
and ChaosClinic pages. Comments in the chat room are announced by a
"duck call" noise. This noise also occurs when the sofware detects a
resonant hex pattern on the Wheel page. Trading tutorials
are on the right side of the ListOfCharts page. One should
read Trading the MoonTide Tutorial and Keep it Simple as a minimum.
