S&P Top In Place
Chaos Clinic For 04/19/2024

This daily chart of the S&P shows that the S&P has made a major top, ending
the spectacular five month rally up from October 26, 2023. That rally extended
1112 points, and took 157 calendar days.
I track longer term swings in the S&P with a 36 day and 220 day EXMAs. These
are the day versions of the 36/220 minute EXMAs use for intraday trading on
daytradingforecasts.com.
Last Friday's drop closed below the 36 day EXMA. This week's slide curled the 36 day EXMA
down.
A 50% decline would be to 4777, about at the level of the 220 day EXMA.
