One of the most useful patterns for traders is my seven move
Chaos Clamshell, discussed at http://moneytide.com/hans/institute.asp
This pattern, and it's refinement, the Fractal Of Pi, have helped many traders anticipate where the
market may be going next. Mostly, traders use this for shorter term trades, lasting a few days, weeks,
or months. But it can be used for longer terms.
This chart of the SPY covers the period from 1993 to present. It has been clear that this year, 2018,
the market has struggled to go higher. This has been very clear since the Fireball Top I identified
in early October. That top does look like the end of move 5 on this long term Chaos Clamshell.
Forecasting the move 6 down can be done by looking at the two Bear Markets of move 2 and move 4.
If this Bear Market is like 4, it could end about April of 2020. If it is more drawn out, it
could last into April 2021. Prices could bottom between 200 and 220 on SPY.
This is merely a projection of a pattern that occurs in chaotic markets. It is not a recommendation

What he says is the smart options traders sell the time premium knowing it always decays-small traders buying puts or calls need big moves to win; which is why I quit option trading
12/14/2018 1:20:35 PM MT jvj****:: So far as options are concerned, I almost never have long premium positions in them, as they are so fairly priced, it is almost impossible to profit from long positions unless moves are large and timing is perfect! I am almost entirely short premium in options at all times, only using long positions to hedge against extreme losses.

12/14/2018 7:38:12 AM MT Al****:: GON: you do not need to get anything from my website. You generate data files with WinXGO on your computer and load them into Ninja Trader. If you try to add the DataFile indicator to a chart in NinjaTrader it will send an email to my son's site asking him to manually license it. It was supposed to do this automatically but there may have been a problem. I sent Mark an email asking him to look into it.

You have an nice T-square in your natal chart, with a Mercury/Moon conjunction. Yesterday was a Mercury square Moon. Mercury was square your natal Mercury. Mercury/Moon is a 40 day cycle, mentioned several times in the Bible.
