Dr. Al supports his students via Teamviewer, a program that allows sharing of screens, voice communication, chat, and file exchange, all over an end-to-end secure encrypted network. For the best support, get yourself properly set up on Teamviewer. This video shows you how.

Conversations on Teamviewer can be very productive if properly set up. If you have a laptop, the built-in microphone, speakers, and camera will usually work. The camera is optional, but good sound is very useful. For good audio, I use
Far End Gear XDU Pathfinder Single Stereo-to-mono Noise Isolating Earphone, Reinforced Cord and Blue Yeti USB Microphone

On another computer I use a KOSS Gaming headset.

Important correction to the video: When you sign up for your account, replace your computer name (Ackernar2 in the video) with YOUR name. That way when I see you on, I know who you are.
